What is solostate?  Solostate is a combination of two terms that describe my career at this point, after 17 years working as an Information Technology professional.  The “solo” refers to my decision to be an independent (1099) contractor (although W2 contracting is fine also!).  The “state” refers to the nature of my work, that is, to plan, design, engineer, implement and support workflows (lifecycles and states) using ECM software, including tools like Microsoft SharePoint and Hyland OnBase.
